What does the PTA do?

We are a group of parents with children in all year groups attending Kingsmead School. Our aim is to make this school a great place for children to learn. Our activities include:

• Raising money on behalf of the school, to make a difference to the resources, facilities and opportunities available to students.
• Providing fun events for children, parents and teachers – strengthening our school community.

Our PTA Facebook page has more information and here you can also purchase tickets to our events, raffles,100 Club and even purchase second-hand uniform.

How do I join the PTA?

As a parent, you are automatically a member of the PTA. However, if you would like to take a more active role, you are warmly invited to attend our meetings and events.

If you feel you can support the PTA as a volunteer, please do contact us, as any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. There are no expectations of any parent volunteer; any amount of time you can give to the PTA will always be well received. Equally, if you have any fundraising ideas we would value your suggestions. The more money we can raise the better for our young people.
